Preparation
This pet quest begins through Cooper and Cronos. It requires a large material collection for Fairy Stone and a later set of 20 dragon eggs.
Walkthrough

Ask Cooper about raising a hatchling, then visit Cronos in Hunters Village. Choose the normal or deluxe Fairy Stone recipe and collect the ingredients on its list.

Take the ingredients to Maria in Town of Dion, receive Fairy Stone, and show it to Cronos.

Visit Byron and enter Fairy Valley to find Mimyu. Avoid losing the stone before the fairy stage is complete.

Take Juice of Monkshood to the drake or wyrm selected by Mimyu: Exarion, Zwov, Kalibran, Suzet, or Shamhai.

Hunt the target named by that dragon until you recover 20 matching eggs.

Return the eggs to the dragon, then bring the result to Mimyu and complete the hatching ritual.
Description
My, my! Hatchlings are very popular this season! I will tell you what I can about them. When they grow larger they are called striders and may be ridden. Later they mature into flying creatures called wyverns.
Take a look at this Katz. It's so cute and cuddly it's hard to imagine that they become such huge creatures! Ha Ha...
